Simon is a Managing Partner at Finsbury Glover Hering where he leads the Firm’s Middle East business, overseeing offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Riyadh. Over the past 20 years Simon has focused on providing strategic counsel and support to senior executives and government ministers during complex situations including capital market transactions, policy implementation and crises.

Simon joined Finsbury Glover Hering in 2003 initially leading the financial services practice and later building the Firm’s Russia and CIS footprint as well as launching its Singapore office. He moved to the Middle East in 2009.

Simon started his career working in the UK government, including three years at the UK Treasury where he developed communication strategies for financial sector regulation and international cooperation in areas including poverty reduction and preventing the financing of criminal activities.
