As a Managing Director of Finsbury Glover Hering’s Beijing office, Agnes brings extensive experience advising senior executives of Chinese and multinational companies on corporate communications, profile raising and CEO positioning, communications support for special situations, public affairs and policy research and outreach, and deal communications. 
Agnes works closely with clients to support their government affairs style outreach to enhance understanding amongst policymakers / influencers. She has in-depth sectors knowledge and understanding of market sentiment, policy trend, and MNCs’ operating environment in China. She has also designed and delivered research solutions to guide communications campaigns that feed into strategic decision making.
Agnes helped to found Finsbury Beijing office in summer 2014 and built from zero a strong Beijing team. She has strong relationship with key international, regional, and national press, and understands the Chinese media landscape and policy trend / movement implicitly.
Agnes joined Finsbury from the Brunswick Group where she was a leader in the Asia energy, financial services and healthcare groups. Prior to Brunswick, Agnes was head of Citigate Dewe Rogerson’s Beijing office. She started her career at the China headquarters of an economic development agency, where she was in charge of marketing communications and strategic communications.
Agnes graduated from Tsinghua University with a Master of Arts degree in Foreign linguistics and Applied Linguistics. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
