Provides political, policy and communications advice in the firm’s Government Affairs team.

As a Managing Director on Finsbury Glover Hering’s Government Affairs division, Simon advises clients on policy, politics, campaigns and communications. 

Before joining Finsbury he was a Special Adviser to the Home Secretary and the Chancellor of the Exchequer. Simon also worked at the centre of the 2015 general election campaign, the 2016 Brexit referendum and the 2017 general election. 

Prior to that he was Head of the Economic Section in the Conservative Research Department and worked on a series of high profile by-election campaigns while at Conservative Campaign HQ. 

He studied English and Politics at Cambridge University, graduating with a first.

Loves food, books and the outdoors. Can be found with his wife slowly cycling / hiking up a mountain.
