Daniel Francis is a Director on Finsbury Glover Hering’s Strategic Communications Energy & Sustainability team. Daniel brings a brings a decade of experience on climate and sustainability issues from the private and public sector.

Daniel previously worked as a Manager on the Global Sustainable Finance group at Morgan Stanley, advancing the firm’s climate and strategic sustainability initiatives. Daniel was involved in expanding the firm’s growing response to climate change and implementing Morgan Stanley’s work on plastic waste financing. Daniel also worked for Environmental Defense Fund’s Climate program, where he managed EDF’s presence at the international climate negotiations, including the historic Paris climate conference (COP21). Daniel also contributed to EDF’s research and advocacy on domestic and international climate action.

Daniel received his Master’s in Urban Planning from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and an Honors Bachelor of Arts from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH.

Daniel is native of Louisville, KY and lives in Brooklyn, NY.
