Anne Gearan is a Partner in Finsbury Glover Hering’s Strategic Communications Division based in Washington, D.C. Anne specializes in media strategy, messaging and issue management. Anne brings decades of experience covering politics and policy as a reporter to help clients navigate in Washington and beyond.
Anne covered four presidents and five secretaries of state, serving most recently as a White House correspondent for The Washington Post during the Biden and Trump administrations. Anne also covered national politics and foreign policy and served as an on-air political contributor for NBC News and MSNBC. Earlier, Anne covered the White House, State Department and Supreme Court for The Associated Press.
A native of Pittsford, N.Y., Anne graduated from Allegheny College with a BA in English and History. She currently lives in Washington.
