Earned a BA in Media and Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations from UNC Chapel Hill. While in school, worked as a Campaigns Specialist for 1893 Brand Studio and a Business and Programs Assistant for UNC’s Center for Developmental Science.

In her spare time, can be found exploring new places around DC, attempting to keep her plethora of house plants alive or cheering on the Tar Heels.
Megan Royer is an Associate Director in the Strategic Communications Division and is based in the Washington, D.C. office. She has advised clients across the tech, health care, education, automotive, media, sports and entertainment industries on how to navigate complex communications problems. Megan first joined the firm as an Associate in the summer of 2018.
While attending UNC Chapel Hill, Megan worked as a Campaigns Specialist for 1893 Brand Studio, a student-run branding and public relations agency. Previously, she was also a Senior Writer covering city news for the independent student newspaper, The Daily Tar Heel. Megan also held a position as a Business and Programs Assistant at UNC's Center for Developmental Science throughout all four years of undergrad. She held several additional PR and marketing internships throughout her college years.
Megan is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has a BA in Media and Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations and minors in Spanish and History. She is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina.
