Jeremy Pelofsky

As a Partner at FGS Global, Jeremy brings to clients nearly a quarter of a century of experience in Washington, D.C. He spent 15 years working as a journalist for two of the world’s largest wire services, and for another decade as a trusted communications counselor serving a broad cross-section of clients.

At FGS Global, Jeremy focuses on advising global corporations and organizations on communications strategy, reputation management and media engagement, including announcements, innovation, public policy, regulatory matters including M&A and CFIUS, as well as crisis and litigation. He has worked with clients across a broad range of industries, including media, technology, telecom/media, healthcare and financial services.

Previously, Jeremy served as VP of Media Strategy at Ketchum, a global public relations agency, where he specialized in corporate and public affairs. As a journalist, Jeremy covered all facets of news in and around Washington for Reuters and Bloomberg News. During his career, he served as: White House and political correspondent; legal correspondent; U.S. media and telecommunications policy correspondent; IMF/World Bank reporter; and deputy editor for the Washington team covering company-related news in government.

During his tenure at FGS Global, he has worked with several pro bono clients, including supporting the successful media campaigns to win the release of a Chinese American imprisoned in Iran and an American journalist detained in Myanmar. He also works to draw attention to the efforts of the staff of the San Quentin News, the inmate-run, award-winning newspaper of the state prison.

Jeremy received a B.A. in 20th Century American History from Bates College in Maine.
