Peter Gardner is a Partner in FGS Global’s Strategic Communications Division. Based in Washington D.C., Peter specializes in crisis and litigation communications and corporate strategy for a range of clients across industries and sectors. He has provided counsel during complex reputational moments including executive transitions, bankruptcies, and regulatory oversight and intervention. Peter has supported clients through high-profile legal matters, including multi-district and appellate litigation and nearly a dozen cases heard by the Supreme Court.
Peter began his career at the Center for Global Development, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank. He worked for two years as speechwriter and communications advisor to the Administrator of the U.S. General Services Administration, after which he earned his MBA at Yale University’s School of Management (SOM). While at SOM, Peter focused on marketing and non-market corporate strategy with a particular interest in public affairs and the interplay between business, government, and civil society.
Peter earned his BA at Swarthmore College.
