Kim James

Kim James is a Partner and leads Finsbury Glover Hering’s robust Health practice, an integrated and interdisciplinary public relations and government affairs team embedded in a full-service communications firm. Under Kim’s leadership, the Health team has developed winning communications strategies designed to enhance, elevate and protect corporate and non-profit reputations, managed complex crisis situations, launched new companies and executed best-in-class earned, owned and paid campaigns on behalf of a range clients.

Kim has over 25 years of communications experience and has spent the bulk of her private sector career advising clients in the health sector. She enjoys working with companies to build strong and differentiated messaging that can be used for strategic storytelling and influencer engagement. She focuses on corporate reputation initiatives, issue management and sensitive and strategic communications at critical inflection points.

Prior to joining Finsbury Glover Hering, Kim spent a decade in political communications, including six years serving as Communications Director for U.S. Senator Bob Graham of Florida, where she is credited with dramatically raising the Senator’s national profile.

A native of Massachusetts, Kim received a BA degree in International Relations from Tufts University and lives with her husband and two children on Capitol Hill.
